Velocity tracking is a transformative training tool.

Whether for athletic development settings, powerlifting, rehabilitation, or even in general fitness, tracking velocity is an easy and useful way improve the quality of your training, increase the fun of training, and accelerate strength and power gains.

Before Metric, this was largely cost prohibitive with velocity tracking requiring physical hardware and in-depth understanding of how to utilise the technology.

Metric aims to revolutionise VBT in three key areas:

  1. Make data collection affordable and effortless. With no additional hardware, Metric is as easy as recording a video of your training.
  2. Actionable and focused analysis. Driving real change with simple and easy to understand data and insights.
  3. Beautiful, easy to use software. In order to lower the barrier to entry and bring velocity tracking to a wider audience.

Feature roadmap

Metric is a young product and we are a small, agile development team. As of mid-2023 we are still in a phase of rapidly adding new features and improving both the training app and the Teams dashboard.

Below you will find a rough timeline of our upcoming feature development for both Metric Pro and the Metric for Teams web dashboard. Estimated release dates and the sequence of development is subject to change (and user feedback), but this should serve as a guide.
